1st time delving into rc flying. This model certainly seems to be robust with regards to crashing! Thought it was me at first or the weak transmitting distance, but the tail rotor either has the wrong pitch or the tail motor isn't fast enough? It can't cope with a very slight wind which is why I kept losing control. Up and down, left and right is instant but forwards and backwards is pathetic. Great piece of kit if this was sorted out, surely not too much of a problem to do? Imagine it would be ok indoors or an extremely calm day. Also disappointing flight time.

      4 of 5 Flys perfect with a few mods. April 10, 2014
      Reviewer: Roadrunnermike from Miami, Fla.
This big chopper flys so stable and hovers perfect, however as all the other comments , it is very slow, well I fixed that, I added the rear tail propeller from a Double Horse 9104 and helped a lot, it is pitched the opposite way so the fwd. and reverse is backwards until you interchange the wires on the motor,, then I replaced the rear motor with one for My WL-Toys-912, the motor is longer and more powerful and fits exactly in the original space, for a $10.00 mod. this should come from the factory like this, it flys faster like a heli costing 3 times the price now

3 of 5 Stop signal loss easily September 16, 2012
      Reviewer: John from New Zealand
A great machine but has some problems such as recivers which don't work or don't work
for long and as others have noted loose radio
contact for no apparant reason. To prevent signal loss I increased the length of the transmitter aerial by taping a length of
straight wire to it [any sticky tape will do].I have almost doubled the length.Try to raise the aerial a little when flying say 45 degrees especially when operating at a distance. Don't alter the length of the receiver aerial.
